We think what you think And you think my eyes are focused on the wall You tell me to lighten But I never always know how So help me My eyes are following the ground Come on... You know I couldn't take it back, no Make true the ways you shoot a film and make projections on the wall I can't forget you Your film doesn't burn in a fire So help me My eyes are focused on the wall Come on... You know I couldn't take it back, no Come through my bedroom Sliding glass doors in the middle of the night Shake me even harder Wake me inside my dreams And tell me Is this love and will you ever leave Come on... You know I couldn't take it back, no I don't understand I always try You watch the world go by with a smile, right

Circus 03:50
My, what a new day! A bit chipper for a Tuesday All the elephants have found a purpose All the people want a circus And who am I to deny them? Let them keep on drinking; keep on thinking all their days will keep on sinking How can i turn away? When the circus comes to down today All your sons and daughters Screamin', splashin' in the water and i must admit it makes me nervous All the people want a circus And who am I to deny them? Let them keep on drinking; keep on thinking all their days will keep on sinking How can i turn away? When the circus comes to down today Come on now, step right this way And wash yourself as soon as you pay I'll not forget just when i heard this All the people want a circus And who am I to deny them? Let them keep on drinking; keep on thinking all their days will keep on sinking How can i turn away? When the circus comes to down today Come on now, step right this way And wash yourself as soon as you pay I'll not forget just when i heard this All the people want a circus

Asleep in a field alone in the dark, faces changing from stones into stars A town I used to know has faded so slow like the others slipped away just like a dream And how the sunlight was fleeting And how you called out my name I don't know the sunshine from the rain falling down so alone in the dark, asleep at the wheel, alone in the dark in this field I will stay The silence held strong it didn't take very long to hear all our sound as reason reason why we never say Maybe I waited too long to show you this song but my heart like yours is fleeting, just running away from a dream And how the sunlight was beating And how I called out your name I don't know the sunshine from the rain falling down so alone in the dark, asleep at the wheel, alone in the dark in this field I will stay And how the sunlight was bleeding And how I called out your name I don't know the sunshine from the rain falling down so alone in the dark, asleep at the wheel, alone in the dark in this field I will stay

Runnin' up and down the walls Probably gonna take a fall I'm never gonna sleep again Spinnin like the wheels of a car Faster than ever before I'm runnin on the wheels of the world I'm never gonna sleep again It's not you It's no you I'm looking for I need more I need more from a woman and more in a friend This is the end This is the end I had to let her go She said I already know I saw it in a dream The sky is falling down My thoughts are spinning around I'm never gonna sleep again It's not you It's no you I'm looking for I need more I need more from a woman and more in a friend This is the end This is the end

I got a window blown out in my house, I called the super on the phone, but the super was me I said, "When you coming over I got cold air blowin in?" and he said, "yesterday." "So when you coming back again?" He said, "Never son you've had your fun. I'm off to see the other ones" "But today's the day that's hurting man I wish that you could understand: leave me in the cold, there's no tomorrow." And I said why don't you love me like you did, love me like you did? And I said why don't you love me like you did, love me like you did? Well I met a girl the other day, she said, "Where you going boy? I wish that you could catch me up." I said, "Do I even know you girl, and are you the one I'm looking for?" and she said, "yeah." So we wandered off in the woods, found ourselves a house to settle in and call our own. But now we're looking back again on nothing like a road, a friend, or any way to get ourselves home. And I said why don't you love me like you did, love me like you did? And I said why don't you love me like you did, love me like you did? Life goes on... Well I joined the army late last week; it was more than I could ever speak or do on my own. And all the boys in my platoon say, "Get a shot; better take it soon. You may be never going home." So I wandered off with my gun; thought I'd have some fun while the boys were all asleep but someone crept up behind me late in the night laid me down before I could even breathe And I said why don't you love me like you did, love me like you did? And I said why don't you love me like you did, love me like you did? So I left my body on the beach, further than i could ever reach. Up into the sky I grew. And everyone I'd ever known- all their faces came and shown their light as I flew. I thought of all the time we'd had, everything we'd ever done, all that I love in this world. And as I took my final glimpse of my worldly deeds I saw my own mother. And she said why don't you love me like you did, love me like you did? Life goes on...

Stars 04:19
If you ever want to see me again You're gonna have to bring your friends along And if you never want to see me again It's gonna have to end on your terms Cause mine will leave you standing on the stairway And my way never gets you very far I've found If you drop the key inside my cage You're really only turning the page again And if you want me to believe in it all And the stars are making you feel small tonight When instead they should be making you feel light So light that your feet don't know the ground And you're not around And you're nowhere to be found I tried to understand you Making up for lost time Making you feel light Like your feet don't touch the ground I was not around I was nowhere to be found And I thought I was erasing the list But I was really only shaking a fist at it Now I'm right back where I'd begun But circle is a revolution And we're all a revolution anyway Floating away like we'll never see the ground And we leave this town Nowhere to be found I tried to understand you Instead I should be making you feel light...

What you want from me You can't stop me from tryin' Your lips move so slowly I can follow every word you throw me My story's long But it's quick if you pay attention I've been waiting for this moment in a burst of conversation This is the story of pain and friendship and the women and men who brought me here This is the story of revolution in a small child's mind This is the story of bridges and train tracks and the creation of an everlasting love What you ask of me I can't give you the answer But the way your looking through me I hope I haven't lost you yet What you think of me I told you I had a story But don't you know better I said that just to keep you around This is the story of pain and friendship and the women and men who brought me here This is the story of revolution in a small child's mind This is the story of bridges and train tracks and the creation of an everlasting love This is the story of pain and friendship and the women and men who brought me here This is the story of revolution in a small child's mind This is the story of untold stories and the creation of our everlasting love
